Calligraphy Programme

(from Greek: καλλιγραφία) is a visual art related to writing. It is the design and execution of lettering with a broad-tipped instrument, brush, or other writing instrument. Even in today's digital world, beautifully written words have a special place.

At MMAPL, you can learn the basics of calligraphy gradually as you create a style that is easy, satisfying, and fun. Very basic materials are needed to do calligraphy: ink, pen and paper. Choosing the right ink, the right pen and the right paper is the key to success.

You will learn the essential skills and techniques that are quite simple, such as learning how to hold the pen, and how to position the writing paper. These skills require regular practice till a certain level of perfection is reached.
